One of the most important tasks of modern cattle breeding is to increase the production of high–
quality beef meat in order to improve the quality and structure of nutrition. This will make it possible to
achieve a more complete satisfaction of the country's population's need for dietary protein in accordance
with scientifically based nutrition standards. At the same time, the genetic resources and opportunities
available in the industry are not being used effectively enough. In this regard, it is necessary to develop,
test and widely use rational technological methods of animal husbandry and feeding in zootechnical
practice.
The article presents data from the study of growth energy, pre-slaughter liveweight, chemical
composition of meat, nutrient conversion and feed energy of four related groups of the Kazakh whiteheaded breed, bulls of which are up to 15-18 months of agewere raised under equal conditions with the
same level of feeding
A comprehensive assessment of inbreed livestock types and meat quality based on the yield of
basic nutrients, depending on the selection of parental pairs, age, physiological condition and cultivation
technology, is an urgent problem in modern animal husbandry.
During the growth and development of young animals obtained from the use of different variants of
parental pair selection, the expenditure of nutrients and energy on the vital activity of the organism
increases, which leads to an increase in protein and energy expenditure per unit of body weight gain with
age. The data obtained indicate that castrated bulls from heterogeneous selection more efficiently use
crude feed protein for the synthesis of white edible body parts.
