In the current favorable weather and climate conditions of 2024, the number of alfalfa seedlings in all studied experimental variants was good and fluctuated within 171.2-188.3 pcs/m2. Thus, when taking into account after the emergence of full seedlings, the largest number of emerged alfalfa plants was noted with direct seeding 188.3 pcs/m2, with traditional technology their number was
171.2 pcs/m2, and with minimal soil cultivation, the number of emerged alfalfa plants was 179.7 pcs/m2. This is explained by the uniformity of alfalfa seed placement and their better contact with direct seeding.
The best indicators of dry hay yield on rainfed sierazem soils of southern Kazakhstan were noted with minimal soil cultivation 24.9 c/ha and with direct seeding 24.1 c/ha. It can be said that the indicators of dry hay yield were equal, with an insignificant advantage with minimal soil cultivation.
Lower indicators of dry hay yield at the level of 20.5 c/ha were achieved with traditional technologies, that is, the height of dry hay yield compared to direct seeding decreased by 3.6 c/ha, and when compared with minimal soil cultivation by 4.4 c/ha.
In 2025, taking into account the yield of dry hay of alfalfa in the second year of life, it was revealed that in all the studied options, the aftereffect of resource-saving technologies for cultivating alfalfa did not have any noticeable significant differences in the formation of the yield of dry hay amounted to 35.2 c/ha, in the option of aftereffects of minimizing soil cultivation, the yield of dry hay was 34.0 c/ha, and with direct seeding 34.7 c/ha.
