Аннотация

Productivity studies conducted on 21241 animal units of cows according to the indicators of the

first lactation showed that the highest milk yield is characterized by Holstein cows - for 305 days of lactation, 5280-7683 kg. The highest fat content was found in Simmental cows of 3.74-3.84%. The protein content for all breeds fluctuated at the level of 2.73-3.25%. The index of CSC (concentration of somatic cells) in Holstein cows was at the level of 680-980 thousand/cm3, Simmental breed 495-1262 thousand/cm3, and Aulieata breed 960 thousand/cm3. CSC of other breeds was at an acceptable level.

The results of the research confirm the effectiveness and expediency of improving dairy cattle breeding programs on the example of basic farms. A comprehensive approach to the evaluation of economic traits of animals, their milk productivity, linear affiliation, the use of stud bulls in the herd will allow it is advisable to influence the formation of highly productive dairy cattle populations capable to long-term use of modern technologies of keeping and exploitation of animals
