Results of the study of hemodynamics in mare's ovarian cysts using ultrasound scanning in B- and Doppler modes

Аннотация

In this study, mare ovarian cysts were detected using B-mode ultrasound scanning. We used a Doppler ultrasound scanner for the first time in our country to determine the hemodynamics of a cyst. The study included 10 mares diagnosed with ovarian cysts based on medical history and using a B-mode ultrasound scanner as an experimental group, and 9 mares with a normal estrous cycle as a control group. Using a Doppler ultrasound scanner, it was proven that the blood supply to the ovaries of mares with ovarian cysts was lower than that of healthy mares. Our results demonstrated that Doppler ultrasound can distinguish between ovaries with normal and pathological structures.
