Calf dyspepsia in Kazakhstan is caused by a complex of various factors. They appear due to feeding disorders (late drinking of colostrum, the use of low-quality feed), poor sanitation and hygiene, as well as the presence of pathogenic microflora (bacteria, viruses, protozoa). The main symptoms are diarrhea, lethargy, lack of appetite, growth and development retardation. For treatment and Prevention, it is necessary to follow the rules of hygiene, ensure timely and correct drinking of colostrum, as well as use probiotic drugs and electrolyte solutions.
Among the gastrointestinal diseases of newborn calves, dyspepsia ranges from 70-75%. At the same time, large-scale work on these research issues and therapeutic methods for the treatment of diseases are not yet available.
At the present stage of development, Veterinary Medicine in the Republic of Kazakhstan pays great attention to the breeding of young animals. The head of livestock, at the same time, will have a particularly relevant problem. However if the maintenance and feeding of animals is not carried out according to veterinary and zoohygienic requirements, the most common diseases of the gastrointestinal tract lead to the appearance of dyspepsia of non-infectious etiology.
