The article examines the influence of microclimate parameters on the growth intensity and live weight dynamics of broiler chickens during the rearing process. One of the key criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of technological measures aimed at ensuring optimal housing conditions is the live weight gain, which reflects the comfort level, health, and productivity of the flock. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the growth rate of chicks and microclimate indicators, including temperature, humidity, air velocity, and the concentration of harmful gases in the poultry house.
The research was carried out under industrial broiler production conditions, where a microclimate control system was established using automated sensors and regulating equipment. Daily monitoring of live weight was performed, average daily gains were calculated, and deviations from standard values were analyzed. The results demonstrated that maintaining optimal temperature and humidity levels in accordance with the birds’ age-specific requirements promotes more uniform weight gain, reduces mortality, and improves feed conversion efficiency. At the same time, even slight deviations in microclimate parameters from established standards lead to slower growth and deterioration in the birds’ overall condition.
Thus, the dynamics of live weight and average daily gains can serve as objective indicators of the effectiveness of measures aimed at creating favorable microclimate conditions in poultry houses. The results of the study highlight the importance of continuous monitoring of microclimate parameters and the implementation of energy-efficient environmental control technologies, which ultimately contribute to improving productivity and the economic efficiency of poultry production.
